1988 - A Legacy Begins
Alva Pools was founded in 1988 by Abraham Alvarado, a craftsman known for hands-on expertise and uncompromising standards. With a dedication to quality work and honest service, Abraham laid the foundation for a company that would become a multi generation family legacy.
2000–2019 — The Second Generation Steps In
Abraham’s son, Hector Alvarado, stepped into the business and expanded the company’s construction division. Through years of hard work, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Hector helped Alva Pools earn a reputation as one of Houston’s premier pool builders.
2024 — A New Chapter
In 2024, Jessie Alvarado was appointed President of Alva Pools, officially becoming the third generation to
lead the company. Under his guidance, Alva Pools continues to evolve while preserving the values that have sustained it for nearly forty years
2020 — Growth Through a New Vision
In 2020, Jessie Alvarado, the third generation of the Alvarado family, launched the dedicated Sales Division. His focus on customer experience, transparent processes, and modernized project flow brought new energy to the organization.
